"Illuminating the American Landscape "
Each of these lamps are individually hand painted. Inspired by my travels and wilderness adventures in State and National Parks. I am a prolific and experienced plein air painter and often hike in or paddle my canoe to create on location paintings. Eventually these scenes show up on the lamps. Over time I have developed special techniques and methods that give these paintings a soothing effect . "A place you remember or a place you want to be" is how they are often described. Currently I am on a mission to paint all of America's National Parks.
The lamp stands are made of antiqued brass and copper with natural hickory and birch accents. Or sometimes re-purposed bits & pieces of Americana to inspire the lampshades. Made In USA
